Dame Julie Elizabeth Andrews, DBE (born Julia Elizabeth Wells; October 1, 1935) is an English film and stage actress, singer, and author.

She played the title character in Mary Poppins, which earned her an Academy Award for Best Actress. She also played Queen Clarisse Renaldi in The Princess Diaries and The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. She later played the Narrator in Enchanted. She also posed as the Blue Fairy in "Where Magic Begins" in the Disney Dream Portrait Series.


She was a guest star in The Muppet Show. She was mentioned in the Liv & Maddie episode "Sing it Live!!!-a-Rooney".
