Jonathan Harshman Winters III was an American comedian, actor, author, and artist. He was best known for playing Lennie Pike in the 1963 comedy film It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, as well as voicing Papa Smurf in the Sony Pictures live-action Smurfs films, which was his final role and released posthumously.

His Disney roles included playing a security guard and the Jack O'Lantern in The Wonderful World of Disney episode "Halloween Hall o' Fame", voicing the titular thief in the Miramax version of The Thief and the Cobbler, and making special guest appearances in The Mouse Factory (hosting the episode "Interplanetary Travel"), The Muppet Show (in Episode 416), The Wonderful World of Disney episode "Mickey's 50", and the 1971 TV special The Grand Opening of Walt Disney World. He also voiced the Magic Carnival Baker in Disney's MathQuest With Aladdin.
