John Christopher Reilly is an American actor, comedian, musician, singer, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his roles in many comedies, and as a frequent collaborator of Will Ferrell. He is known for his supporting film roles in Days of Thunder, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and The River Wild. He also starred in Paul Thomas Anderson's films Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, and Magnolia, as well as Terrence Malick's The Thin Red Line. Additionally, he portrayed Cal Naughton Jr. in the 2006 sports comedy film Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Dale Doback in the 2008 comedy film Step Brothers, and voiced Eddie the sheep in the 2016 Universal/Illumination animated musical comedy film Sing.

For Disney, he voiced Wreck-It Ralph in the 2012 Disney animated film of the same name (while also credited for story contribution to the film), and reprised this role in the 2018 sequel Ralph Breaks the Internet. He also portrayed Rhomann Dey in Guardians of the Galaxy, Officer Kellogg Curry in the 1996 Touchstone Pictures film Boys, Happy Jack Mulraney in Gangs of New York, Amos Hart in the 2002 Miramax film Chicago (in which he was nominated for both a Golden Globe and Oscar), Cory Murphy in Dark Water, and narrated the 2014 Disneynature film Bears.
