Joel Edward McHale (born November 20, 1971) is an Italian-born Canadian stand-up comedian, actor, writer, television producer, television personality, and voice artist. He is best known for hosting The Soup, and for his role as Jeff Winger on the NBC sitcom Community since 2009. He also starred as Jack Gordon in the CBS sitcom The Great Outdoors. Recently he became the host of his own self-titled weekly Netflix sketch comedy show, The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale.
For Disney, he voices the First Ninja in the Disney XD animated series Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja, and voiced Norm's Prototype Head in the Phineas and Ferb episode, "Candace Disconnected". He also voiced Vincent in the Milo Murphy's Law episode "A Clockwork Origin".
