Jennifer Sarah "Jenny" Slate (b. March 25, 1982) is an American actress, voice actress, comedian and author. She voices Pony Head on the Disney Channel series Star vs. the Forces of Evil, and she voices Bellwether in the 2016 animated feature film, Zootopia.
Slate is also known for creating Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, which was screened along with several Disney features at AFI Fest 2010. It is a stop-motion animated short film about Marcel, an anthropomorphic seashell outfitted with a single Oobi eye and a pair of miniature shoes.
