Jay Scott Greenspan (born September 23, 1959), better known by his professional name Jason Alexander is an American actor, director, producer, writer, singer and comedian. He is best known for being as George Costanza in the NBC sitcom Seinfeld from 1989 to 1998.
He voiced the Aladdin villain Abis Mal in The Return of Jafar and the television series, and also voices Hugo the gargoyle in Disney's 1996 animated film The Hunchback of Notre Dame, a role he later reprised in its sequel, and the video game Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. He also voiced Thunderbolt's sidekick Lil' Lightning in 101 Dalmatians II: Patch's London Adventure, as well as playing the role of Lionel in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. He was also the guest star in an episode of Muppets Tonight.
Alexander is also known for his role as Edward Lewis' lawyer Philip Stuckey in the 1990 comedy Pretty Woman. Alexander has been married to his wife Daena E. Tilte since 1982 and together they have 2 sons named Gabriel (born in 1992) and Noah (born in 1996).
