James Edward Franco (born April 19, 1978) is an American actor who is well known for his roles as Harry Osborn in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, Scott Smith in the 2008 biographical film Milk, and as Aron Ralston in the 2010 biographical survival drama film 127 Hours, which earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor nomination.
