Hugh Anthony Cregg III (born July 5, 1950), better known by his stage name Huey Lewis, is an American musician, songwriter, and actor. He is best known for creating the songs "The Power of Love" and "Back in Time" for the Back to the Future trilogy. He performed the song "Once Upon a Time in New York City" that plays at the beginning of Disney's 1988 animated film, Oliver & Company. He also played Ricky Dean in Duets.

Several of Lewis' songs were made into music videos set to clips of Disney animation on DTV and its sequel DTV², including "The Heart of Rock & Roll", "The Power of Love", and "It's Hip to Be Square". Additionally, "The Heart of Rock & Roll" was included on the DTV special, DTV Valentine (later renamed DTV Romancin'), while another song, "Workin' for a Livin'", was included on another DTV special, DTV Doggone Valentine. A third Valentine program, Mickey's Happy Valentine Special, also featured "The Power of Love".
