Huey, Dewey and Louie's father is Della Duck's husband and the father of her sons, Huey, Dewey and Louie. His name is unknown.

He was first mentioned in Al Taliaferro's 1938 comic strip Donald's Nephews. Here, it was said that his sons put a firecracker under his seat, and they had to stay with their uncle Donald until he recovered. The nephews briefly mentioned both of their parents while saying their prayers in the comic strip Amen!, written by Bob Karp and drawn by Al Taliaferro.

He made his first physical appearance in Mark Worden's illustrated version of Carl Barks' 1950s Duck Family Tree. His design was probably based upon a Duck surfer with human ears from the Barks story Double Masquerade.

Don Rosa's Duck family tree also included the father of Donald's nephews, but his name and face were obscured by a passing bird, a joke about the fact of the kids' father never appearing in the stories. A convention poster Rosa made of the tree has Huey, Dewey and Louie's father's face shown, but the name given (and the last names for Donald's nephews) is the one of whoever is given the poster. A popular misconception is that he is in fact named "Jamie Hawkins", because a scan of this poster shown on the internet had the poster owner's name written under the portrait of Huey, Dewey and Louie's father.

  • In the Disney comic parody Return to Duckburg Place, Daffy Duck was said to the nephews' father.
  • In the 1999 Duck family tree Der Stammbaum Der Ducks, solely based upon the German translations of Barks' comics, the father of the nephews appeared to be Donald's brother rather than his brother-in-law.
