"Good Golly, Miss Dolly" is the sixteenth episode of the first season of Disney ChannelsHannah Montana and the sixteenth episode of the series overall. It aired on September 29, 2006. It was written by Sally Lapiduss and directed by Roger S. Christiansen. The title is a reference to the Little Richard song "Good Golly, Miss Molly".
Synopsis[]
Miley's godmother, Aunt Dolly, visits the Stewart family. She brings her video camera to film the family, but Miley accidentally tapes herself professing her love for Jake. Oliver and Lilly come over and Oliver accidentally takes the videotape with him. Miley gets back the the video camera, but Oliver has already given Jake, the editor, the tape. So, Miley, Lilly, and Aunt Dolly try to get it back by going to school, sneak into the edit office, get the tape but Miley gets dumped in a veggie burger, a milkshake, and fries (also some cream pimento sauce). Also, when Miley finally builds the courage to tell Jake that she likes him, Jake reveals that he has a girlfriend, Rachel. At the end, Miley is sitting on the couch with her dad and Aunt Dolly, and they convince Miley not to give up on Jake by singing "Who Said" in a version related to their conversation.
