Gallegher is a miniseries from Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color. The miniseries is broken up into four parts: Gallegher, The Further Adventures of Gallegher, Gallegher Goes West, and The Mystery of Edward Sims.

Synopsis[]

In 1889, Gallegher, a young apprentice Daily Press says the dream of becoming a reporter. Gallegher manages to prove that the police chief, O'Malley, is innocent of the crime he is accused of. Brownie, one of the reporters of the Daily Press, is being charged with murder after being involved in spite of himself in a duel. The Daily Press hiring its first journalist Adeline Jones. The Daily Press covers the scandal exploding gas lines and thus finds itself in a very difficult position with the municipal team up. Resigns Gallegher Daily Press to move west, settling for a new position in the small town of Brimstone. Gallegher and colleagues at the Brimstone Blast oppose the corrupt mayor. Gallegher acquires a horse from a family of farmers, Carlson. Gallegher seeks to confuse the real killer J. McManus. An emigrant Cornwall family is a victim of scam orchestrated by a certain Edward Sims property. Gallegher attempts to discover the true identity of Edward Sims.
