Gabriella Montez

Gabriella Montez is a character played by Vanessa Anne Hudgens in the Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical. She is one of the main characters in the film, along with Troy Bolton, Sharpay Evans, and Ryan Evans. Gabriella joins East High, and is an academic genius with a wonderful singing voice. She catches Troy Bolton's attention the first day she comes, and starts singing with him. She ends up singing with Troy in the school's musical production.
