Steven Alan Spielberg, KBE, is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter, who is best known as the most commercially successful filmmaker in history. He is known for founding the company Amblin Entertainment, which includes various media, such as Jaws, the Indiana Jones franchise, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler's List, Jurassic Park, Ready Player One, and most notably the Warner Bros. animated series Tiny Toon Adventures. He also co-founded the film studio DreamWorks (along with Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen).

Spielberg was perhaps influenced by the Walt Disney Company the most, as he served as an executive producer on the 1988 Touchstone Pictures film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. He also directed the 2016 fantasy adventure film The BFG, which was released on July 1, making it the first Disney movie to be directed by Spielberg. Disney has also owned the Indiana Jones franchise, which Spielberg co-created with George Lucas, since December of 2013. Additionally, he directed Bridge of Spies, War Horse, and the 2021 remake of West Side Story.

He also pointed out that John Williams' theme song for the movie Jaws (which Spielberg directed) was based on the theme for Man from Bambi, as was the main score for Close Encounters of the Third Kind, modeled after "When You Wish Upon a Star" from Pinocchio.

Additionally, he was mentioned in the Lizzie McGuire episode "When Moms Attack", the Hannah Montana episode "Wherever I Go", and the A.N.T. Farm episode "feature presANTation".
