Trivia[]

  • Morals
    • Being scared is a natural feeling. But don’t get discouraged about it. Learning more about what you’re afraid may help you feel less scared.
    • Never give up on your dreams. Even if something doesn’t work out at first, you gotta keep trying. Don’t stop believing in yourself.
    • When you’ve got friends by your side, you can accomplish anything.
  • This film is notable for being the final film role of actor John Ritter who lends his voice to Great Uncle Stew; Ritter died shortly after recording his lines in September 2003 from aortic dissection, two years before the film's release. The film (along with Clifford’s Really Big Movie) is dedicated in his memory.
  • The movie’s introduction song and Stanley Rides Again are performed by the western band Riders in the Sky, which had previously performed the Woody’s Roundup songs for the Pixar film Toy Story 2.
  • By the second half of the movie, Stanley’s voice has gotten noticeably deeper, mainly due to his voice actress Jessica D. Stone getting older.
