Recorded on July 18, 1947, here is the demo to "Speak Roughly to Your Little Boy," written for Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

The composers and vocalists are unknown.

Taken directly from Lewis Carroll's original novel, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, the song was to be sung by the character of the Duchess. She, as well as everyone else from her sequence, was cut from the film during production, though she served as partial inspiration for the film's Queen of Hearts,

The concept art used for this video is by David Hall, created during pre-production of his scrapped 1939 treatment. The recording itself comes from the 1995 "Alice in Wonderland: Exclusive Archive Collection" LaserDisc release.
