Creative Wonders was an educational software corporation from 1994 to 1999, and was a joint-venture between the American Broadcasting Company and Electronic Arts. It created computer games and educational software based on children's characters like Sesame Street, Madeline, Schoolhouse Rock!, Arthur, Dr. Seuss, Elliot Moose, and ABC World Reference.

History[]

Creative Wonders started out in 1994 as EA Kids, a children's division of Electronic Arts. During this time, the division released many Sesame Street licensed titles.

In 1995, EA Kids became Creative Wonders, when Electronic Arts teamed up with the American Broadcasting Company (ABC) to create titles like the ABC World Reference Series, a series of encyclopedias and atlases on CD-ROM, as well as extra licenses like DIC Entertainment's Madeline and ABC's in-house Schoolhouse Rock!.

In 1998, Creative Wonders was purchased by The Learning Company.
