"Rock N' Roll" is the second segment of the sixth episode of Miles from Tomorrowland. It premiered on February 20, 2015 alongside "Who Stole the Stellosphere?".

Plot[]

In the hangar, Miles and M.E.R.C. are practicing quantum kick. As always, M.E.R.C. kicks the ball too hard. Miles tells him that it takes a lot of practice to get good at the sport. Just then, Leo brings out heavy machinery, and Miles is amazed to see it, which is an Exo-Flex suit. Miles wishes he was tall enough to use it, so that he can dig through craters, punch away meteoroids, and even lift M.E.R.C. up. Since Miles is getting taller and even ate an extra piece of broccoli the previous day, Leo measures Miles, and he is tall enough. Phoebe and Loretta arrive, stating that Miles is not so little anymore.

Admirals Watson and Crick then call the Callistos, and congratulate Miles, as he is officially tall enough to begin training on the Exo-Flex. Once Miles passes the test, he will be a real Exo-Flex operator, just like the rest of the Callistos. The transmission then ends. Phoebe also reveals that the Exo-Flex training manual was Miles' favorite bedtime story.

In the activity room, Miles gets in the Exo-Flex to begin his training. Leo tells him that the first time he used the suit, he was excited, as well. But his dad gave him some advice: to move with the suit and find his Callisto flow, which makes Leo a righteous surfer and Miles an ace at quantum kick. It works like this: when you practice hard at something, you will learn how to trust your instincts, and your movements will flow. Miles decides to give it a try, but it is hard to balance in the suit. Stella then downloads the first stage of Miles' Exo-Flex certification. Miles will practice on the holo-course until he gets the hang of it. Loretta added things to trip over to make it as real as possible. Phoebe tells Miles that the task is to carefully lift the holo-boulders and place them in a specific location. Unfortunately, Miles has difficulty controlling the suit, and falls down, failing the attempt. Leo tells Miles that this is the reason why they use a holo-course: for practice. As Loretta is about to restart the program, Stella informs the Callistos about an incoming call from the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. Miles takes off the suit, as it makes it a little hard to fit through doorways.

Once on the bridge, Miles tells Admirals Watson and Crick that he started his Exo-Flex training, but they tell him that that would have to wait. The Admirals tell the Callistos about a rover on the moon Namazu not responding to their communications, and task them to find the rover and make any necessary repairs. During the briefing, Crick has an instrument, and sings "And out" while playing it before the transmission ends. The Callistos then head into the Star Jetter to get to the moon.

Loretta finds out that where they landed is the last known coordinates of the rover, and Miles sees some tracks. The Callistos follow them, and lift the rover to its upright position. Everything looks good, but the only problem is that the communications dish is smashed. Miles and M.E.R.C. head back to the Star Jetter to get Leo's Quantumatic so he can fix it.

Shortly after Miles and M.E.R.C. find the Quantumatic, a moonquake occurs, and after it ends, Miles contacts the Callistos, who are trapped behind a rick slide and are unable to get out. This means that, even though Miles does not have his Callisto flow and has not finished his training, he needs the Exo-Flex to save them. He better do it quick, because after a moonquake, there are usually aftershocks.

Eventually, Miles controls the Exo-Flex suit, even after sliding down the crater. Miles and M.E.R.C. come up with an idea of pretending that the falling rocks are like an extreme game of quantum kick. They then kick the rocks out of their way until they reach the rock slide. Miles uses the suit to pick the rocks up one by one until the Callistos can escape. Loretta is glad to see Miles and the Exo-Flex, and the Callistos leave the moon with the rover.

Phoebe then tells the Admirals that a moonquake must have caused the rover to fall into the crater, and Leo recommends that they relocate the tech to a more stable part of the moon, one without falling rocks. Crick did not think of that because he thought it was Watson's turn to think. Miles questions if he can go back to his Exo-Flex training, but the Admirals say it will not be possible because, due to his brave actions during the mission, Miles earned his Exo-Flex certificate, meaning that he is now a real Exo-Flex operator.

Back in the activity room, Miles uses his Exo-Flex suit to practice more quantum kick with M.E.R.C.
