Paul Reubenfeld, known professionally as Paul Reubens, was an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, entertainer, and game show host. He was best known for his portrayal of Pee-wee Herman in various media. He also played Buck LaFarge in the 1996 Fox comedy film Dunston Checks In, as well as voiced Jokey Smurf in the Sony Pictures live-action Smurfs films.

For Disney, he provided the voice of RX-24, the droid captain of the StarSpeeder 3000 in the Star Tours attraction found at the Disney theme parks Disneyland, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Paris. He later reprised this role in the Star Wars Rebels episode "Droids in Distress". He also voiced Fife in the 1997 midquel Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, Lock in The Nightmare Before Christmas and Oogie's Revenge, the Milkman in Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, Max in Flight of the Navigator, Pavel in Tron: Uprising, Dennis in the 2004 film Teacher's Pet: The Movie, Couch Dracula in Pickle and Peanut, Mr. Herodotus in the Hercules TV series, and Professor Parenthesis in the Phineas and Ferb episode special "O.W.C.A. Files". Additionally, he played the Pinball City Proprietor in Midnight Madness and voiced the titular character in test footage of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.[1] He also appeared as himself (credited as "Francine's crush") in the Hulu comedy film Quiz Lady (his final acting role).
