Anonia Eugenia "Nia" Vardalos is a Canadian actress, voice actress, comedian, screenwriter, director, producer, and singer of Greek descent. She is best known for her role as Toula Portokalos in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, its sequel, and its spin-off tv series.
Her Disney roles include a waitress and Mrs. Gallagher in Boy Meets World, Angela Torres in the ABC TV show Cougar Town, Karen in the ABC TV show Grey's Anatomy, Patricia in Station 19, Leah Wells in the ABC TV show The Catch, and the voice of Mrs. Diaz in Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Selene in the DuckTales reboot.
