Mickey Mouse and the Missing Mouseketeers is a Little Golden Book starring Mickey Mouse.
Synopsis[]
Mickey is in Disneyland, preparing to film an episode of The Mickey Mouse Club. Touring the park, he finds everything is ready to go in Adventureland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland.
But when Mickey gets to Fantasyland, where he plans to meet up with Minnie and the Mouseketeers, he finds that something has gone wrong. Minnie and the Mouseketeers are missing and everyone else seems to be in an enchanted sleep. After riding Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey discovers that the Disney Villains are missing too.
Meanwhile, the TV crew arrives, and Mickey instructs them to film the segments in Adventureland, Frontierland, and Tomorrowland. Hoping to rescue Minnie and the Mouseketeers in time for the show, Mickey travels to the Dwarfs' Mine inside Snow White's Scary Adventures. There, he encounters Captain Hook. After Mickey defeats him in a sword fight, Hook reveals that Minnie and the Mouseketeers are at the bottom of the mine.
At the bottom of the mine, Mickey finds Maleficent standing over the sleeping bodies of Minnie and the Mouseketeers. Using reverse psychology, Mickey tricks Maleficent into eating a Poisoned Apple. After seeing Maleficent defeated, The Evil Queen, in hag form, runs away. The villains gone, Mickey kisses Minnie, which breaks the curse. Mickey, Minnie, and the Mouseketeers leave the mine, arriving outside just in time for the show.
