Martin Olson is an American comedy writer, television producer, author, stage director, and composer. He is also a playwright and poet known for comedic and unusual subject matter. Olson is best known as a "founding father" of the Boston comedy scene, as a collaborator with comedians, animators, and composers, and as a writer-producer of off-beat comedy.

For Disney, he was head writer for season one of Phineas and Ferb, and one of the main songwriters for the series, as well as a writer for We Wish You a Merry Walrus. He was also a writer/songwriter for Milo Murphy's Law. He is currently songwriting for Hamster & Gretel. His daughter, Olivia Olson played Vanessa Doofenshmirtz in Phineas and Ferb and is a featured singer on Phineas and Ferb soundtrack CDs.
