Betty Jean "B.J." Ward is an American actress, voice actress, and singer. Some of her more recognizable voice over roles include Scarlett in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, as well as Princess Allura and Haggar in the American adaptation of Voltron: Defender of the Universe, she also voiced Winnie Woodpecker in the 1999-2002 series The New Woody Woodpecker Show, and was the voice of Velma Dinkley from the Scooby-Doo franchise from 1997-2002. She is the creator and star of Stand-Up Opera, a musical one-woman show, as well as being a licensed aviator.
She has done several voice roles for Disney, primarily in the theme parks. Among them are:

- The safety spiel announcer for the SeaCabs in The Living Seas[1]
- The narrator of Disneyland's PeopleMover
- The safety spiel announcer on It's a Small World
- Several singing voices in Splash Mountain, including Mother Possum and Mother Rabbit in the Disneyland version
- The unload platform spiel announcer in Walt Disney World's Peter Pan's Flight
- Various spiels on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
- Various spiels on Spaceship Earth
- Various voices in Epcot and Disneyland Paris
- She also voiced Harmond in TaleSpin, Birdie McQuack and Loopey McQuack in DuckTales, Gloria Swansong in Darkwing Duck, Fleance in Gargoyles, Halinor Clarkson and The Mage in W.I.T.C.H., and a Street Mother in The Return of Jafar.
