"Space Adventure" is the eighty-ninth episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. It originally aired on Disney Junior on September 12, 2011, and is the twenty-second episode in the third season.

Summary[]

Mickey and his friends travel into space to search for intergalactic treasure. But Space Pirate Pete is after the very same thing. Meanwhile, Toodles meets Space Pirate Pete's "helping helper", Quoodles, and the two end up having feelings for each other bigger than any universe.

Plot[]

It's Adventure Day![]

It's Adventure Day at the Clubhouse. Mickey welcomes the viewers and Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto arrive. Mickey is unsure what the adventure will be with the only clue Professor Von Drake giving him that it will be "out of this world!" The Mousekedoer goes off and a map comes out from the organ-pipes. Mickey looks at the map and sees planets on it. Professor Von Drake appears on the screen of the Mousekedoer and tells the Sensational Six that there is a treasure to be found and the treasure map will guide them to it. But it's no ordinary treasure, it's a treasure located in outer space on the Mystery Planet.

Coming out of the Mousekedoer, Professor Von Drake sings about the treasure and the adventure the Sensational Six will go in outer space. Donald is eager to find the treasure but is stopped by a Handy Helper. Finding the treasure won't just simply be following the map. In order to figure out where on the Mystery Planet the treasure is located, they need to find 10 treasure stars along the way. The treasure stars are located at the landmarks also located on the map and must be found before going to the Mystery Planet. Jumping back into the Mousekedoer, Professor Von Drake tells the Clubhousers the way they need to go according to the map: first, they must travel to the Moon, the second location is Mars, then they must travel to Saturn. After visiting all three locations and finding the ten treasure stars, then they can go to the Mystery Planet and find the treasure.

The Mouseketools[]

Now that they have the map and the adventure they will be going on today, there's just one more thing to do before they can go on their adventure; the Mouseketools. Toodles enters the Mousekedoer and is given four Mouseketools: a giant oatmeal raisin cookie, a big bird cage, a colorful towel, and the Mystery Mouseketool.

Blast Off![]

With the Mouseketools obtained, everyone heads to the Clubhouse Rocket for their Out-Of-This-World Adventure! Toodles is already there ready for takeoff and soon everyone else is strapped in ready to go. Professor Von Drake and shows the Space Adventurers that the first stop is the Moon. On the Moon, they will be searching for treasure stars 1, 2, and 3. But getting the treasure stars won't be easy, Professor Von Drake warns them that the notorious Space Pirate Pete will also be after the treasure and will go through any means to steal their map and treasure.

Knowing where to go and to be wary of Space Pirate Pete, everyone counts down from 10 to 1 and blasts off into outer space on course for the Moon.

Enter Space Pirate Pete and Quoodles[]

With the Clubhouse Rocket on its way to the Moon, it isn't long before Space Pirate Pete spots the Space Adventurers on their treasure hunt. Following a song about how much he likes taking treasure, Space Pirate Pete comes to the conclusion that he will need something to stop the Space Adventurers and steal the map for himself. Space Pirate Pete calls for his special helper Quoodles; a female version of Toodles. Upon being summoned, Space Pirate Pete asks Quoodles for a Quoodlestool that will slow down the Space Adventurers.

The First Quoodlestool[]

Quoodles shows Pete and the viewers the Quoodlestools she has; but unlike Toodles, Quoodles' Quoodlestools are hidden behind four colored sections: red, yellow, blue, and green. Space Pirate Pete chooses the red section and a milk carton is revealed as the Quoodlestool. Space Pirate Pete is confused how one little milk carton can stop the Clubhouse Rocket. However, it turns out that the Quoodlestool is not one milk carton but a whole field of them! With hundreds of milk cartons blocking the path to the Moon, the Clubhouse Rocket won't be able to get by without spilling the milk inside and making an even bigger mess to deal with.

Love at First Sight ❤[]

The Clubhouse Rocket arrives at the field of milk cartons and winds up blocked with no way to go. Following a joke by Goofy, Space Pirate Pete shows up and demands the treasure map. Mickey refuses and starts thinking of a way to pass the milk cartons. Goofy goes over to the others while Toodles looks outside. Quoodles shows up and sees Toodles for the first time and it's not long before Toodles sees Quoodles as well.

The two are both amazed to see someone just like them and immediately fall in love with each other. The two share glances with each other, wave hello, and even make silly faces together.

The First Mouseketool[]

Mickey realizes that they are going to need a Mouseketool in order to pass the milk cartons and he and the others call for Toodles. Knowing that his friends need him and the romantic moment is over, Toodles sadly waves goodbye to Quoodles. Quoodles flies away and Toodles rejoins Mickey and the others and shows them the Mouseketools: the giant oatmeal raisin cookie, the big bird cage, the colorful towel, and the Mystery Mouseketool. Minnie decides to pick the giant oatmeal raisin cookie because "milk goes with cookies." Despite the silly idea, Mickey agrees to pick the cookie. Sure enough, the cookie leads all the milk cartons away and the Clubhouse Rocket is able to get passed.

To The Moon![]

Space Pirate Pete is frustrated over his plan failing, so he decides that himself and Quoodles will follow the Space Adventurers to the Moon and think of another plan to steal the map. Meanwhile, the Clubhouse Rocket lands on the Moon. Following a clumsy exit by Goofy, everyone exits the Rocket and decides to split into two groups to find the first three treasure stars. Minnie, Donald, and Pluto form one group while Goofy, Mickey, and Daisy form the other group.

Helping Moon Man Chip and Moon Man Dale[]

Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey soon encounter Moon Man Chip and Moon Man Dale. Knowing that they need help finding the first three treasure stars, Mickey asks for their help. The two moon men agree to help in return for putting a long pole on a rectangle rock and making a flag for them. The three Space Adventurers agree and Daisy and the viewers quickly find a rectangle rock. The pole is planted into the rock, but Moon Man Chip and Moon Man Dale still need a flag to complete the task.

The Second Mouseketool[]

Daisy concludes that Toodles might have something they can use that's like a flag and calls for him. Arriving in his space rover transformation, Toodles comes to his friends aid and shows them the three remaining Mouseketools he has: the big bird cage, the colorful towel, and the Mystery Mouseketool. With the towel being in the shape of a flag, Mickey, Goofy, and Daisy pick the towel as the Mouseketool they can use as a flag. The towel is strung up the pole, everyone salutes it, and Moon Man Chip and Moon Man Dale sing a quick song to commemorate their new flag. With their flag all set up, the two Moon Men are ready to help their friends by taking them to the one place where they put all their stuff...the Moon Locker!

The First Three Treasure Stars[]

Moon Men Chip and Dale lead Daisy, Mickey, and Goofy to the Moon Locker. Goofy opens said locker and all the contents in it fall on top of him. With help from the viewers, treasure stars 1, 2, and 3 are found in the pile. But as soon as they are identified, they begin flying away. Everyone chases after the treasure stars; fortunately, the treasure stars fly onto the Clubhouse Rocket and are ready for transportation.

Off to Mars[]

Upon reuniting with Donald, Pluto, and Minnie at the Rocket, Professor Von Drake calls the Space Adventurers to congratulate them on finding the first three treasure stars. Looking at the map, Professor Von Drake tells the Space Adventurers that treasure stars 4, 5, and 6 are hidden somewhere on Mars, their second destination, and wishes them good luck. After saying goodbye to Moon Men Chip and Dale, the Space Adventurers board the Rocket and take off to Mars.

Unbeknownst to the Space Adventurers, Space Pirate Pete and Quoodles are shown eavesdropping behind a big rock and Space Pirate Pete comes up with another scheme to get the treasure map from the Space Adventurers. Despite Quoodles reluctance with the plan, she follows Pete to Mars.

Finding Martian Mickey[]

The Space Adventurers arrive on Mars with Space Pirate Pete and Quoodles not far behind. Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, and Donald disembark from the ship while Goofy, Toodles, and Daisy stay behind to make sure that the Rocket is safe to travel on. Mickey, Pluto, Minnie, and Donald begin their search to find their pal Martian Mickey, as he knows Mars better than anyone. Shortly after, the four encounter Space Pirate Pete doing his Mickey Mouse impression and wearing green paper circles (pretend ears) on top of his helmet pretending to be Martian Mickey. Both Donald and Pluto aren't fooled by this poor disguise, especially when one of the pretend ears falls off Space Pirate Pete's helmet. The disguise is further blown when the real Martian Mickey shows up with Pluto from Pluto.

After Minnie verifies that the Martian Mickey that just arrived is the real one by comparing him to Earth Mickey, Space Pirate Pete flees now that his plan is beyond saving. Martian Mickey learns that Earth Mickey and friends are searching for treasure stars and directs the group to the one place on Mars where they could possibly be...the Star Tree Forest!

Toodles and Quoodles' Romantic Moment[]

As the group heads to the Star Tree Forest, Toodles is shown back at the Clubhouse Rocket cleaning the windows. Upon finishing, Quoodles shows up, and Toodles and Quoodles properly introduce themselves. Filled with love for his new friend, Toodles gives Quoodles a bouquet of flowers. Quoodles, who is equally in love with Toodles, is happy with the gesture and smells the bouquet. Unfortunately, before Quoodles could take the flowers, Space Pirate Pete shows up and angrily tells Quoodles to stop kidding around and that they have to go. With the moment ruined, Quoodles sadly bids Toodles goodbye and follows Space Pirate Pete. Toodles sadly watches Quoodles leave, says goodbye to her, and drops the bouquet as he flies away in heartbreak.

The Star Tree Forest/The Next 3 Treasure Stars[]

Martian Mickey and Pluto from Pluto lead Minnie, Donald, Earth Pluto, and Earth Mickey to the Star Tree Forest, which turns out to be a single tree as there aren't many trees on Mars to begin with. They find treasure stars 4, 5, and 6 on the branches of the Star Tree. Upon being found, the treasure stars detach from the Star Tree and fly off to the Clubhouse Rocket. The Space Adventurers say goodbye to Martian Mickey and Pluto from Pluto and follow the treasure stars back to the Clubhouse Rocket.

The treasure stars attach themselves to the Clubhouse Rocket; Professor Von Drake calls the Space Adventurers and congratulates them on finding treasure stars 4, 5, and 6. Only treasure stars 7, 8, 9, and 10 are left and they can be found near the rings of their next destination as shown on the treasure map: Saturn! Having spied on the Space Adventurers from afar, Space Pirate Pete and Quoodles depart ahead of the Space Adventurers with a much better plan to steal the treasure map in mind.

Flying to Saturn[]

The Clubhouse Rocket soon reaches Saturn and Goofy and Daisy marvel at Saturn. Suddenly, there is a knock at the door. Donald answers it to find Space Pirate Pete disguised as little old lady outside. Pete lies that he is lost and needs a map so she can figure out where he is. Goofy buys the disguise and gives Pete the treasure map. Mickey and Donald don't buy Pete's disguise though and exposes him. Shedding his disguise, Space Pirate Pete takes off with the map with Goofy, Donald, and Mickey chasing after him.

Running Around Saturn's Rings[]

Goofy, Donald, and Mickey start chasing Space Pirate Pete around Saturn's Rings in hopes of getting the treasure map back. With Space Pirate Pete on one side of Saturn's Rings and Mickey, Donald, and Goofy on the other side, Space Pirate Pete jumps on Saturn's Rings and causes them to be launched up. Donald and Goofy manage to hang onto the rings but Mickey fails to grab hold and starts floating away into the abyss of space!

Rescuing Mickey and Finding the Last 4 Treasure Stars[]

Daisy and Minnie see Mickey floating away and send Pluto to fetch Mickey. Mickey starts bouncing on space rocks like a pinball on bumpers. Luckily, Pluto manages to catch Mickey and rescue him from becoming a living pinball. Pluto pushes Mickey to a nearby pile of random objects with numbers on them and deduces that the last four treasure stars are located somewhere in the pile. With help from the viewers, Mickey and Pluto find the final four treasure stars: 7, 8, 9, and 10! The treasure stars then take flight and head for the Clubhouse Rocket.

The Third Mouseketool[]

As the Treasure Stars make their way to the Clubhouse Rocket, Goofy and Donald struggle to catch Space Pirate Pete and reclaim the treasure map. Space Pirate Pete alludes capture by climbing to the top of Saturn and Donald fails to catch him. Back in the Rocket, Minnie and Daisy realize that the boys are going to need a Mouseketool to help catch Space Pirate Pete. The girls call for Toodles, who was taking a nap in the Clubhouse Rocket, and Toodles shows the remaining tools to Minnie, Daisy, and the audience. The only tools remaining are the big bird cage and the Mystery Mouseketool. Needing to capture Space Pirate Pete to reclaim the treasure map, the girls choose the big bird cage. Space Pirate Pete winds up trapped in the cage and Donald takes back the treasure map. Goofy and Donald return to the ship, leaving Space Pirate Pete trapped in the bird cage.

The Second Quoodlestool[]

Knowing that he needs to get away, Space Pirate Pete summons Quoodles and tell her that he needs to get away. Quoodles shows Pete and the viewers the Quoodlestools hidden behind the remaining three colors. Space Pirate Pete chooses the yellow square and the tool hidden behind it is revealed to be a giant space chicken. The space chicken is shown perched on top of the bird cage and Space Pirate Pete believes that was a waste of a Quoodlestool. Luckily, Quoodles is fluent in chicken and asks the space chicken to fly the birdcage Space Pirate Pete is trapped in away. The space chicken agrees to lend a wing and flies the Pete and the birdcage away. Meaning that Space Pirate Pete will be back later to go after the treasure.

Activating the Treasure Stars[]

Goofy and Donald enter the rocket with the reclaimed treasure map while Mickey and Pluto return with the last 4 treasure stars. Upon entering back into the rocket, the Space Adventurers count the treasure stars to make sure they have all 10. Sure enough, they do! Professor Von Drake then contacts everyone and congratulates them on finding all ten treasure stars. All that's left to do is count backwards from 10 to 1 and the treasure stars will activate and reveal the location of the Out-Of-This-World Treasure. Through song, the Space Adventurers count backwards from 10 to 1, activating the treasure stars. Spinning around into a ring of bright light, the treasure stars blast out a bright light that strikes the Mystery Planet and reveals an X in the planet; showing where the Out-Of-This-World Treasure is.

Last Stop: Planet Mickey![]

Goofy realizes that the planet resembles Mickey's head due to the two moons orbiting it resembling Mickey's ears and christens the planet, "Planet Mickey." Donald, annoyed at Mickey always being the one referenced in some way, complains before brushing it off and insisting that they'd go get the treasure. Mickey complies and the Space Adventurers head off to Planet Mickey.

The Third Quoodlestool[]

Space Pirate Pete notices the X on Planet Mickey and figures out that's where the treasure is located. Freeing himself from the big bird cage and saying goodbye to the space chicken, Pete starts flying over to Planet Mickey. That is, until his jet pack runs out of power unexpectedly. Needing to get to Planet Mickey as soon as possible, Space Pirate Pete summons Quoodles and tell her that he needs a method of fast transportation. Quoodles shows Pete and the viewers the Quoodlestools hidden behind the remaining two colors. Space Pirate Pete chooses the blue square and the tool hidden behind it is revealed to be swim fins. The swim fins are then shown on Space Pirate Pete's feet and, although not fast, Pete deduces that he'll have to swim to Planet Mickey. Space Pirate Pete starts space swimming to Planet Mickey with Quoodles right behind him.

Pete and Quoodles Find the X[]

Pete and Quoodles arrive on Planet Mickey before the Space Adventurers do and the former asks the audience to find the X. The viewers briefly assist Pete and he and Quoodles find the X before anyone else. Upon realizing that there is an arch above the only way to get to the X, Pete realizes that he will need to come up with something to prevent the Space Adventurers from reaching the treasure. Pete comes up with an idea, pulls out a ball, and throws it through the arch. The ball expands into a sticky web that blocks the way through. Pete confidentially states that the Space Adventures will end up getting stuck in the web when they try to pass through and the treasure will be his when they do!

Quoodles and Toodles Get Stuck in the Sticky Web![]

Wanting to test to see if the web will work, Quoodles flies to the web. Pete tries to warn her about the extra-sticky power of the web, but Quoodles ends up getting stuck. Upset over his friend getting trapped in his own scheme, Space Pirate Pete wants to rescue her. Desperate, Pete calls out for help.

Mickey, having avoided the sticky web, arrives upon hearing Pete's cries for help. Mickey greets his enemy only to notice that Toodles, having joined Mickey, has disappeared. In what appeared to be an attempt to rescue Quoodles from the sticky web, Toodles ends up stuck as well; meaning both tool distributors are now stuck and, in an ironic role reversal, are the ones in need of rescue. Mickey realizes that there are, in a way, two Toodles' and is stunned to see that Toodles isn't the only tool distributor around. Toodles introduces Mickey to Quoodles and Mickey promises to Quoodles and Toodles that they will rescue them.

The Final Mouseketool and Quoodlestool[]

Mickey decides to try a Mouseketool to see if Toodles has anything that might help him and Quoodles out of this situation. Toodles shows Mickey, Pete, and the audience that only the Mystery Mouseketool is left. With no other options, Mickey picks the Mystery Mouseketool only to discover that the Mystery Mouseketool is Space Pirate Pete. Both aren't sure how Pete can help in the situation, so Space Pirate Pete decides to see if Quoodles has a Quoodlestool that might help. Quoodles shows Pete, Mickey, and the audience that only the green square has yet to be revealed/chosen. With no other options, Space Pirate Pete picks the green square only to discover that behind the green square is Mickey. Not understanding how Mickey can help, Pete asks Mickey if he knows what the tools mean. Figuring out the answer, Mickey deduces that the only way to save Toodles and Quoodles is that he and Mickey put their differences aside, team up, and become friends. Pete is hesitant at first, but with no other options, decides to give it a try.

Working Together to Save Toodles and Quoodles[]

Mickey surveys the situation and realizes that they can't pull Quoodles or Toodles from the web without getting stuck themselves. But seeing that the arch is what's holding the web up, Mickey decides that if they break the arch, then the web will fall and Toodles and Quoodles will be freed. Space Pirate Pete agrees with the plan and he and Mickey climb up to the arch and start jumping on it in order to break it. The two, at first, try jumping on their own before deciding to jump together. The arch starts to break as they jump together. Soon, the arch soon breaks completely, taking the web with it, and Toodles and Quoodles are freed and start flying around together in happiness over their friends coming together to save them.

Teaming Up and Finding the Treasure[]

Space Pirate Pete apologizes for his actions and thanks Mickey for his help. Mickey then invites Pete and Quoodles to join him and his pals in searching for the Out-Of-This-World Treasure together as friends. Space Pirate Pete tearfully accepts the offer. Goofy, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto, and Donald then catch up with Mickey and Toodles and is shocked to see Space Pirate Pete with them. Mickey and Pete reassure everyone about the latter's reformation and how he is going to join them in the treasure hunt as a friend. Pete then introduces everyone to Quoodles and she is welcomed on the team as well.

Everyone reaches the X and Pluto digs for the treasure. Pluto digs up a treasure chest but everyone is stubbed to find Professor Von Drake's remote inside. Mickey pushes the button and the whole ground starts shaking.

The Out-Of-This-World Treasure![]

The treasure hunters run away in fear, then a chrome, space counterpart of Mickey's Clubhouse appears and is revealed to be the Out-Of-This-World Treasure! Daisy christens it the Mickey Mouse Spacehouse. Professor Von Drake calls everyone and asks if they like the treasure. Everyone is happy with the Spacehouse. Martian Mickey, Moon Man Chip, Moon Man Dale, and Pluto from Pluto exit from the Spacehouse, also happy with the treasure, and tells everyone that this is where they can play anytime they visit space. Everyone sings one final song before doing the Hot Dog Dance in front of the Spacehouse. Quoodles and Toodles give some final comments before the Earth pals head back to the rocket for their return trip to Earth. Their outer space friends wave goodbye as the Clubhouse Rocket takes off and Martian Mickey says goodbye to the viewers.
