Kathryn Love Newton is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Louise Brooks in the CBS/ABC Studios sitcom Gary Unmarried (2008–2010), the older version of Claire Novak in The CW dark fantasy drama series Supernatural (2014–2018), Abigail Carlson in the HBO drama series Big Little Lies (2017–2019), Allie Pressman in the Netflix mystery drama series The Society, and Joanie Clark in the AMC drama series Halt and Catch Fire (2016–2017).
Her other notable roles include Chase Rubin-Rossi in the 2011 comedy film Bad Teacher, Alex Nelson in the 2012 supernatural horror film Paranormal Activity 4 (in which she received the Young Artist Award for Best Leading Young Actress in a Feature Film), Angela Hayes in the 2017 crime drama film Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Julie Decker in the romantic comedy film Blockers, Ivy Burns in the drama film Ben Is Back (both released in 2018), Lucy Stevens in the 2019 live-action film Pokémon: Detective Pikachu, and Millie Kessler in the 2020 comedy slasher film Freaky.
For Disney, she portrayed Emily Adams in Dog with a Blog. She also played Cassie Lang in the 2023 Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (replacing previous actress Emma Fuhrmann).
