James Paul Marsden is an American actor, voice actor, singer, and former Versace model. He is best known for playing Cyclops in the first three X-Men films, as well as his cameo role in X-Men: Days of Future Past, and voicing Diggs in Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore. He also played Fred O'Hare in the 2011 Universal/Illumination hybrid film Hop. Additionally, he portrayed Tom Wachowski in the 2020 Paramount Pictures film Sonic the Hedgehog and its 2022 sequel, and voiced an adult Timothy Templeton in DreamWorks' The Boss Baby: Family Business and Hitch Trailblazer in the 2021 Netflix film My Little Pony: A New Generation.
For Disney, he played Prince Edward in the 2007 fantasy musical comedy film Enchanted and its 2022 sequel Disenchanted. In 2014, he also voiced Sir Brad Starlight in the Wander Over Yonder episode "The Hero".
