Gary J. Panansky is an American actor, who played the role of Grover Gogan in Disney's 1977 movie Pete's Dragon, the Teacher in the 2011 film The Muppets, and the unfortunate teacher in the popular CDE series Punch Teacher. He also had smaller Disney roles in The North Avenue Irregulars (1979, as the bighaired head of a rock band) and The Devil and Max Devlin (1981, as the Record Store D.J. with Bill Cosby and Elliott Gould) followed. His stunt resume includes Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. He is doubled for Martin Short in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006). On TV, he was a stunt double for Shia LaBeouf in The Even Stevens Movie.

Morgan was born Gary Panansky to vaudevillian parents, who adopted the professional surname "Morgan". He acted in his parents' acts on Broadway and was an acrobat, as well before transitioning to film and television as both an actor and stunt double. His film work includes The Night God Screamed, Fuzz, Summer School Teachers, Logan's Run, Matilda (1978), The Final Countdown, Outrageous Fortune, Cujo, and Batman Forever.

His television credits include Naked City, The Partridge Family, Adam-12, Happy Days, and Star Trek: The Next Generation.
