The Good Dinosaur: Dino Crossing is a game based on the Pixar film The Good Dinosaur. It was released on the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon App Store on November 19, 2015.
Gameplay[]
In this game, the player guides Arlo throughout his adventures based on the film's plot. Similar to Frogger and Crossy Road, the player must guide Arlo safely across the wilderness and reach the finish line in order to proceed to other levels in Journey Mode. In later levels, the player will encounter several obstacles such as geysers, Tetrapodophis, and even shadows of pterodactyls in which the player must avoid. If the player remains idle too long during gameplay, a pterodactyl will fly over the player, causing him or her to lose.
In later levels, the player will have Spot to guide him throughout the game, thus giving him an extra chance to help finish the level and when the player hits an obstacle or falls into water, he/she will lose a life. The game ends when the player collides with an obstacle or falls into water. Whenever the player finishes each level on Journey Mode, he/she will receive a footprint ranking depending on how long he/she took to complete the level. When the player completes each level, he receives one footprint or two or three for finishing the level depending on the time spent to complete the level.
Endless[]
In Endless Mode, the mode almost had the same gameplay in Journey Mode. However, unlike in Journey Mode, it is an endless mode and the player can travel longer and collect many berries to unlock new characters.
Occasionally, Endless Mode features Berry Bonanza, a mode where players receive twice the berries collected throughout the mode. Once the player exits during Berry Bonanza, he then must wait every few hours so that Berry Bonanza can be played again.
