Franklin Wendell "Frank" Welker is a veteran American voice actor, impressionist, and former stand-up comedian, who has done over 800 different character voice roles and other vocal effects for different animals, monsters and creatures in animated films, television shows, video games, and commercials. He is responsible for a broad spectrum of character voices and other vocal effects that appeared over the last 50 years in American television and motion pictures, such as Megatron in various incarnations of the Transformers franchise, Dr. Claw in the 1983 animated series of Inspector Gadget, Dynomutt (Blue Falcon's robotic dog sidekick), Fred Jones in the Scooby-Doo franchise since 1969, as well as being the current voice of Scooby-Doo since 2002.
He has also done numerous voice roles in many Disney films, television shows, and video games, including Cinderella, 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Epic Mickey, and more.
