    • The scene where Mabel is napping in her tower references the scene in Sleeping Beauty. Mabel's tower and bed are very similar to those in the film, and Mabel holds a rose while sleeping, referencing the iconic scene where Briar Rose is brought back to life by the prince.

  • In the 30th episode, "Banana Fontana", Samosa is asked by the mayor if he knows of any celebrities that can replace the one he had originally planned to appear at the shoe store's opening and makes up a pop-star named Banana Fontana on the spot. The name Banana Fontana sounds similar to "Hannah Montana".
