Russell "Russi" Taylor (pronounced ROO-see) was an American voice actress, who was best known for her Disney role as the voice of Minnie Mouse from 1986 until her death in 2019, as well as several other Disney characters, including Huey, Dewey, and Louie. She also voiced Nanny and Lucky in 101 Dalmatians: Animated StoryBook.

She was also well-known for providing the voices of Martin Prince, Sherri and Terri, Üter Zörker, and briefly Wendell Borton in Fox's The Simpsons, which she continued to do following Disney's acquisition of Fox until her death.

Taylor met Walt Disney one time at Disneyland; when Walt asked her what she wanted to do when she grew up, she said she would work for him, to which he replied, "Okay." Years after Walt's passing, Taylor was indeed officially hired by the Walt Disney Company.[1]

Additionally, she met Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse, during a recording for "Totally Minnie". She was married to him from 1991 until his death from diabetes in May 2009. They were both named Disney Legends in 2008, and their plaques were presented together on the same post at the Team Disney - The Michael D. Eisner Building.

After Taylor's passing, she was replaced by voice actress Kaitlyn Robrock as the new voice of Minnie Mouse and by Cristina Vee as the new voice of young Donald Duck, and Grey DeLisle took over her roles on The Simpsons as Martin Prince and Sherri and Terri. However, the new voices for Huey, Dewey, and Louie are yet to be confirmed.
