Benjamin Jeremy "Ben" Stein is an American actor, voice actor, writer, lawyer, and commentator on political and economic issues. He is well known for his monotonous deadpan voice. Some of his well known film roles are the unnamed economics teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Dr. Arthur Newman in the The Mask and Son of the Mask. He was also a speechwriter and lawyer for US Presidents Nixon and Ford.
For Disney, he made a cameo appearance in Episode 211 of Muppets Tonight, voiced Mr. Purutu in The Emperor's New School, Ranger Wormy in Lloyd in Space, Trivia in the Hercules episode "Hercules and the Pool Party", a rabbi in Miami Rhapsody, and a waiter in the 101 Dalmatians: The Series episode "Two Faces of Anita". He also hosted the Valleycrest/Buena Vista game show Win Ben Stein's Money.
