Charles Peckham "Charlie" Day is an American actor, writer, producer, and podcaster. He is best known for his television role as Charlie Kelly in the FX sitcom It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, since 2005. He is also well-known for his film roles as Dale Arbus in the 2011 black comedy film Horrible Bosses and its 2014 sequel, as well as Dr. Newton Geiszler in the 2013 sci-fi monster film Pacific Rim and its 2018 sequel. Additionally, he voiced Benny in The LEGO Movie franchise and Luigi in The Super Mario Bros Movie.
For Disney, he portrayed Stoner in the 2002 Touchstone Pictures film Bad Company. He also voiced Art in the 2013 Disney/Pixar film Monsters University.
