"Ride a Northbound Horse" is a 1969 telefilm produced by Walt Disney Productions. It was originally broadcast on NBC as a two-part episode on Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color on March 16, and March 23, 1969. It was later released theatrically overseas. The telefilm was directed by Robert Totten.
Synopsis[]
Young orphan Cav Rand has an ambition to ride on a cattle drive, but a wily peddler has stolen his horse. When Cav tries to retrieve it he is branded as a horse thief and thrown into jail.
