Denis Colin Leary is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, screenwriter, director, and producer. He is perhaps best known for his role as FDNY firefighter Thomas Michael Gavin in the FX comedy-drama series Rescue Me, where he was also the co-creator of the series, and for voicing Diego the saber-toothed tiger in Blue Sky's Ice Age franchise. He also created and starred as Johnny Rock in the FX sitcom Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll.
For Disney, he portrayed Gus in the 1994 Touchstone Pictures comedy film The Ref and CW3 Davis Poole in the 1995 film Operation Dumbo Drop. He also voiced Francis in Disney/Pixar's 1998 animated feature film A Bug's Life.
