Bootleg Pete ASTP Alice Solves the Puzzle (1925) In this short, Pete (as Bootleg Pete) is a bear, with no clothes.
1925-derby-2 Alice Wins the Derby (1925) (Pete's the one next to Julius) Pete's peg leg has been removed. This happens multiple times between shorts. In addition, he is much taller and slimmer.
1925-champ-3 Alice Picks the Champ (1925) Here, Pete is shown with pants on for the first time.
7306 The Ocean Hop (1927) Pete no longer resembles a bear, now having whiskers, his mouth and nose area is longer, gloves, a hat, and a vest.
8506 Ozzie of the Mounted (1928) Pete now is taller, he has suspenders and overalls.
The gallopin gaucho 5large The Gallopin' Gaucho (1928) Pete now is a cat instead of a bear in his clothing from Ozzie of the Mounted.
Sw20 Steamboat Willie (1928) Pete loses his whiskers.

Pete in Moving Day Moving Day (1936) In the first full-color Pete short, Pete is shown with his mouth and nose area being a pale-like color, his gloves being yellow and his shoes and his shirt and vest from Ozzie of the Mounted appeared with his vest being brown. He now has lost his peg-leg, having two good legs instead.
54708 The New Neighbor (1953) Pete's gloves are now white and his mouth and nose area and the rest of his body are brown, much like how the "everyman" version of Goofy was colored at the same time.
Pete as The Ghost of Christmas Future Mickey's Christmas Carol (1983) Pete appears in a style similar to his 1930s-1950s design.
Sharkey Pete Ducktales (1987) Pete once again appears in his 1930s-1950s design but his mouth/nose area is white.
Pete in Goof Troop Goof Troop (1992) Pete appears in his The New Neighbor design.
Goofy-movie-disneyscreencaps.com-6038 A Goofy Movie (1995) Pete reverts to his 1930s-1950s design once again.
Maxresdefault3 Mickey Mouse Works (1999-2000) Pete reverts to his 1930s-'50s design again, except here Pete's fur is faded grayish-brown instead of black.
2007-maisonmickeypaque-04 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (2006-2016) Pete reverts to his 1930s-1950s design a final time in 3D.
PeteTaunt Get a Horse!(2013) Pete reverts into his classic Steamboat Willie design, with his peg-leg back. He becomes colored when he goes into 3D.
TLR (1) Mickey Mouse (TV series) (2013-2019) He appears as a mix of the Steamboat Willie design and his 1930s design. In addition, he has yellow eyes, and noticeable whiskers and a long tail.

When Oswald was purchased by Universal, Pete still appeared in many shorts as many species.
