Duncan and Herb are two Royal Crewmen who appear in the Disney Junior animated series, Sofia the First.
Role in the Series
The pair make their debut in "All the Sprite Moves". They first appear when they are helping the Royal Family of Zumaria move into their new castle. While moving the stuff in strange things being to happen like the organ playing all by itself and the armor they're placing hitting them. Princess Vivian claims this is a sign that the castle is haunted. While her parents are unconvinced, Duncan and Herb are instantly convinced and become frightened. At Cecily and Marcus' insistence they continue to unpack. Strange things continue to happen. Princess Vivian comes by and asks "Is it the ghosts again?" While both of her parents tell her "No." the pair give her an insistent "Yes!" Finally, even Queen Cecily and King Marcus become convinced that the castle is haunted until Vivian admits that it's really Wee Sprites. After Vivian gets the sprites out, the pair continue to unpack.
The pair reappear in "Sofia in Elvenmoor". They first appear in front of a silver tree with King Roland II discussing a road they're building for him. They tell Roland that in order to keep construction on schedule they have to cut the tree down and Roland consents unaware that the tree is a gateway to Elvenmoor, the elfin world, and that Sofia is there and that cutting the tree down will trap her there and that a elf named Elfred and Whatnaught are overhearing them. Suddenly, the pair begin to have "equipment trouble" that Duncan blames Herb for unaware that it's really sabotage by Whatnaught, who had learned what their tree chopping will do to Sofia from Elfred. Eventually, the pair decide to have oxen pull down the tree. Whatnaught tries to tell the trio what's going on but they can't understand him. Suddenly, Sofia appears and tells them everything and Roland decides to have them build the road around the tree.

- Herb has the same name and voice actor who portrays Herb the Hedgehog.
