"Dress for Success" is the second segment of the thirty-first episode of the Adventures of the Gummi Bears. It premiered on September 17, 1988 alongside "Music Hath Charms", and is the second segment of the second episode in the fourth season.
Plot[]
The Gummi Bears attend a masquerade festival at Dunwyn, but so does Igthorn, with the intention to get rid of King Gregor once and for all. And the only tool Sunni has to stop him is her rather gaudy, self-made new dress.
Cast[]
- Corey Burton as Gruffi Gummi, Toadwart
- June Foray as Grammi Gummi, Mother, Costume Contest Judge
- Katie Leigh as Sunni Gummi
- Allan Melvin as Herald
- Lorenzo Music as Tummi Gummi
- Noelle North as Cubbi Gummi
- Rob Paulsen as Gusto Gummi
- Michael Rye as Duke Igthorn, King Gregor
Trivia[]
- Zummi Gummi appears, but does not have any lines.
- The Costume Contest Judge had previously appeared as the lady attempting to push the carriage out of the mud, in "Over the River and Through the Trolls", albeit with black hair.
- This is the only episode during which the Gummi Bears mingle freely among the citizens of Dunwyn Castle, confident that their identifies will be mistaken for elaborate costumes.
