Malcolm John "Mac" Rebennack (better known by his stage name Dr. John) was an American singer-songwriter, pianist, and guitarist, whose music combines blues, pop, jazz, as well as zydeco, boogie woogie, and rock and roll.

For Disney, he re-recorded the song Cruella De Vil for the 1996 live-action version of 101 Dalmatians and contributed the song "Down in New Orleans" in the 2009 Disney animated feature film The Princess and the Frog. He also covered the song "The Bare Necessities" for the 2016 live-action remake of The Jungle Book.

His song "Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive" was featured in The Mighty Ducks.

His song "More Than You Know" was featured in The Night We Never Met.

He recorded the theme song for Flirting with Disaster.

His song "Right Place, Wrong Time" was featured in Scream 2.

His song "Lost in You" was featured in They.

His song "Let's Make a Better World" was featured in Holes.
