Dominick "Dom" DeLuise (August 1, 1933 - May 4, 2009) was an American actor, vocie actor, comedian, film director, television producer, chef, and author. He played voices of some characters from Don Bluth's movies such as Jeremy in The Secret of NIMH, Stanley in A Troll in Central Park, Tiger from An American Tail, who was one of the actors throughout the franchise and Itchy from All Dogs Go to Heaven and was one of only two voice actors who made it through the whole franchise the other being Charles Nelson Reilly as Killer. He also gave the voice of Christopher Columbus from "The Magic Voyage".

For Disney, he voiced Fagin in Oliver and Company and Dionysus in Hercules: The Animated Series. He also hosted the Mouse Factory episode "The Great Outdoors", portrayed Bernie the Agent in The Muppet Movie and guest-starred on The Muppet Show. He chose to voice Ernie from The Brave Little Toaster however, the character was cut from the film.

He had a son, David, who starred in Wizards of Waverly Place.

He died from kidney failure, cancer, and respiratory problems due to complications of diabetes and was cremated; his ashes were buried with his parents and is survived by his wife and three sons, including David.

He was also known for voicing Pizza the Hut (parody of Jaba the Hut) in Mel BrooksSpaceballs, a parody movie of Star Wars.
