Daniel Louis "Dan" Castellaneta (born October 29, 1957) is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, and screenwriter who is best known for voicing Homer Simpson and many other characters on the Fox popular animated series The Simpsons since 1989.

He also has provided voice work to several Disney productions. Castellaneta provided the voice of Genie in The Return of Jafar, the Aladdin television series, Kingdom Hearts, various theme park parades and shows and other occasions when Robin Williams was unavailable. He also voiced Stewart in Marsupilami.
