The Carousel Inn and Suites (originally Carousel Motel) was a 131-room hotel located directly across the street from the Disneyland Resort's eastern border, on Harbor Boulevard. On March 23, 2015, the hotel was acquired by The Walt Disney Company, which saw the hotel "as a strategic investment, as opportunities to purchase properties in close proximity to the resort are extremely rare," according to Disneyland Resort spokesperson Suzi Brown, indicating the purchase may later be used for future expansion. Although the hotel is owned by the Walt Disney Company, it is not officially considered part of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Instead, the hotel continued to be operated by its existing management and was considered a Good Neighbor Hotel. Disney closed the hotel on October 17, 2016, to make way for a pedestrian bridge and walkway between Disneyland Resort's new Eastern Gateway complex under construction between Manchester Avenue and Disney Way.

The hotel has one on-site dining location, The Pizza Press, a locally-based chain which specializes in build-your-own-pizzas and craft beer. As of November 2016, the Pizza Press location is still open.
