Carlo Steven Krakoff (November 4, 1974July 31, 2011), professionally known as Carl Steven, was a retired juvenile child actor and voice actor. His Disney role was Tommy Pervis in Honey, I Shrunk the Kids when he was fourteen or fifteen years old. He also appeared in ABC's special Fluppy Dogs in 1986 in a major voice-over role as Jamie Bingham. He voiced Freddie Jones in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo in 1988-1991 along with Kellie Martin. He retired in 1996 and having something wrong with his tonsils, he was so addicted to a medication for it that he stole to support this addiction. He was arrested in his thirties for armed robbery in 2010 and, during his 13-year sentence, died of a heroin overdose in jail at the age of 36 in 2011.

Personal Life

As an adult, Steven retired from acting. He became addicted to prescription medications after a tonsillectomy, and stole to support his addiction. Steven was sentenced to 13 years in prison for armed robbery in 2010.

Steven died on July 31, 2011, at the age of 36, of a heroin overdose while in prison in Tucson, Arizona.
