Bolt is the 40-7th full-length animated comedy film in the Disney canon.

[edit] Plot

Bolt the Dog is a German Shepherd, who has lived his whole life on the set of a hit TV series, playing a superhero dog.

As far as Bolt knows, what happens on the show is real; he believes that he is a superhero.

When Bolt is accidentally shipped from Hollywood to New York City, he discovers that he doesn't actually have superpowers.

Bolt enlists the help of a sassy alley cat named Mittens the Cat and a tubby hamster named Rhino the Hamster to help him find his way back to Hollywood and his owner, Penny.

Along the way, Bolt discovers that while he may not be a superhero, he is a hero.
