Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter (née Knowles), known mononymously as Beyoncé, is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, actress, producer, businesswoman, and director. She, along with her former Destiny's Child groupmates (Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, and her younger sister Solange), performed the theme song to the Disney Channel television series The Proud Family. She also posed as Alice in "Where Wonderland is Your Destiny" in the Disney Dream Portrait Series, voiced adult Nala in the 2019 Disney film The Lion King, and directed, wrote, and starred in the Disney+ visual album Black Is King. Additionally, she appeared as herself (alongside Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, and LaTavia Roberson) in the Smart Guy episode "A Date With Destiny" and (alongside Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams) in The Famous Jett Jackson episode "Backstage Pass". She also voiced Queen Tara in the 2013 Blue Sky Studios animated film Epic.

Beyoncé is married to rapper and businessman Jay-Z. On January 7, 2012, she gave birth to a daughter, Blue Ivy Carter. She later gave birth to twins, a daughter named Rumi and a son named Sir.
