Benjamin Edward Meara "Ben" Stiller is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director who is the son of Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara. He is well-known for writing, starring in, directing, and/or producing numerous comedy films, including Reality Bites (in which he also portrayed Michael Grates), There's Something About Mary (in which he also played Ted Stroehmann), Meet the Parents (in which he portrayed Greg Focker), Zoolander and Zoolander 2 (in which he also played Derek Zoolander), DodgeBall (in which he portrayed White Goodman), the Madagascar franchise (in which he voiced Alex the lion), the Night at the Museum film series (in which he played Larry Daley), and Tropic Thunder (in which he also portrayed Tugg Speedman). Stiller's production company is Red Hour Films.

For Disney, he portrayed Tony Perkis and his father in the 1995 comedy film Heavyweights. He also played Jim Uptegrove in the 1990 Touchstone Pictures film Stella. Additionally, he voiced Khaka Peu Peu in the Phineas and Ferb episode "The Beak", and guest-starred in the Phineas and Ferb spin-off Take Two with Phineas and Ferb.
