"Bee Inspired" is the sixty-third episode and the fifth episode in season 4 of Mickey Mouse. It premiered on August 11, 2017.
Plot
Summary
Minnie Mouse needs inspiration for her paintings and Mickey tries to help by posing with a flower. However, Spike the Bee won't leave him alone.
Synopsis
The episode begins with a shot of a flower painting, which is ripped by Minnie, who doesn't like how it turned out. Mickey decides that Minnie just needs "a change of scenery", and the garage door opens to reveal him posing and holding a flower. Minnie starts to paint a new portrait, but Spike lands on the flower, causing Mickey to scream and Minnie to ruin the portrait. They try again but this time Spike lands on Mickey's nose. They try again but Mickey finds it too hard to stay still, so he waits until Minnie is distracted. He swats Spike, seemingly killing him. He tries various attempts to heal Spike until the bees try to poke him. Spike tells the other bees, "Attack not this noble gentleman, for he hath risked his life to save me. He is a true friend to all beekind." The bees carry Mickey back to his place, and he hugs the bees goodbye. Spike gives Mickey a flower, hugs him, and he poses one last time. Minnie finishes her painting, which Mickey declares a masterpiece. As he does so, the view zooms out to show Mickey, Minnie, and Spike drawn in different art styles, leading all the way back to the old 1928 style.
