The Beanstalk Factory is a rather mysterious location in Wasteland

The Beanstalk Factory resembles a hybrid between Willie the Giant's castle and a XIXth-century factory, notably with three large chimneys. It is located on a cloud that is itself supported by a beastalk. The Beanstalk Factory is on the very edge of Wasteland.

The Beanstalk Factory is apparently a scrapped concept for a location in the first game that was removed pretty late, much like the Wonderland Maze. It was presumably based on the Mickey and the Beanstalk cartoon. The Beanstalk Factory is visible on concept-arts published in The Art of Epic Mickey  as well as in the map of Wasteland displayed on the Epic Mickey app; the altered version of the same map is also used as the first page of every Tales of Wasteland stories. Notably, Claudio Sciarrone's rendering of the Factory in the comics is a bit less castle-like than the one from the concept-arts.

But not only is it available on peripheric material such as the comics and the concept-arts, the Beanstalk Factory actually made into the first game (to the same extent that the Wonderland section did), as a feature on the Wasteland map seen during the opening cutscene. Unlike Wonderland, whose absence from the game is justified by it having been entirely destroyed by the Thinner Disaster according to said opening cutscene, the Beanstalk Factory is left virtually unharmed in the opening, which implies that it might still be in Wasteland — although Mickey just happened not to visit it. However, like many regions of the Wasteland, the Beanstalk Factory is absent in the Wonderland Map's redesign in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.

It is possible, though totally unconfirmed, that some gameplay ideas from the Beanstalk Factory were kept in the Mickey and the Beanstalk transition level.
