Basil Rathbone (June 13th 1892 - July 12th 1967), known for his role as Sherlock Holmes, narrated The Wind in the Willows segment in The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad. The Disney animators later used recordings of him as Sherlock Holmes in The Great Mouse Detective. His role as Sherlock Holmes was later spoofed by Genie in the TV series, Aladdin.
