The mother of the famous and well beloved Disney character Bambi. She is featured from the beginning of the film to when she was killed in the middle.

Bambi's mother is shown as caring and first appears after the film's opening credits, when Bambi is born. She is shown for the rest of the movie usually showing Bambi the forest. She is also shown to be good friends with Faline's mother.

One day in the winter She decided to take Bambi out in the snow. She suddenly realized someone was around and it was not a fellow woodland creature, it was instead a hunter. She and Bambi race home, but before they were anywhere near the mother was shot and killed off screen. Bambi was then raised by his father and Friend Owl.

• Although she was killed she was still featured as a guest in Disney's House of Mouse television series, along with many other Disney characters.
• She and other Disney characters appeared on Who Framed Roger Rabbit film
• She has also made a cameo appearance in a later Disney film The Jungle Book, where she was targeted by Shere Khan as prey but she escaped safely.
