Ariel Winter (born January 28, 1998) is an American actress who is best known for her role as Alex Dunphy on the ABC sitcom Modern Family since 2009.

She voices Gretchen the Fireside Girl and did the voice of Wendy Stinglehopper in one episode for the Disney Channel series Phineas and Ferb and Marina the mermaid in the Disney Junior series Jake and the Never Land Pirates. She also did voices for some of Thumper's sisters in the 2006 direct-to-video film Bambi II. She also provided the voice for young Kairi in the video game Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, and also voices Sofia in the 2013 Disney Junior series, Sofia the First and its 2012 film.
